Introducing the Front-Facing Panel for Your Keg Room

Do you manage your beer cooler, or does it manage you? Does this happen when you, the owner or operator, are absent?

beer coolerAny bar owner or bartender can tell you the one thing that causes so much discussion and is a point of pain is the walk-in beer cooler. That singular item can be the difference between efficiency or just being a major pain in the ass.

Keg room organization can be somewhat subjective. First and foremost, it's critical to store kegs and cases of beer in ways that allow for easy accessibility and a clear aisle to walk through. Changing out one keg for another should not be an hour-long process, nor should it put staff members at risk by performing an unsafe act (as shown in the picture) to get to the controls that are so far out of reach. Keg racks and the organization of the kegs on those racks are often considered the first step to keg room organization.

Another critical aspect is where to place all the beverage system components for the beer cooler operation. Typically, they are placed way above the kegs where the average employee can’t reach the fobs when changing out a keg. While surveying a project, a GM operator told Bill Dunnett Jr that he was the only person who changed out the kegs. That being said, if they empty a brand of beer on a Friday night and the GM is not around, they do not sell that type of beer until he replaces that keg. That one statement got Cooler Concepts thinking!

That's Why Cooler Concepts Created the FRONT-FACING PANEL

Designed to keep all beverage controls within arms reach for the employees, this revolutionary panel is set to redefine convenience in the back of the house and the beer cooler. Let's delve into the features that make the FRONT-FACING PANEL a game-changer.

Designed with the employees and the beer system installer in mind, the FRONT-FACING PANEL  allows the employees to get to the controls that are only 62 inches above the floor and a mere 16 inches from any aisle. For the beer system installer, installation is a breeze. The components can be laid out and attached to the panel while on a benchtop and then attached to the supplied framework using only four bolts. “The Panel” allows total accessibility without the chance of employees doing an unsafe act.

Turning to specifications, the FRONT-FACING PANEL impresses with its versatility. The beverage components can be placed on both sides of the panel. Constructed from high-density polyethylene in a crisp white hue, it boasts a thickness of 1/2 inch for robustness without bulk. Available in a range of 11 widths from (48, 50, 52, 54, 64,66,68,80, 82, 84, and 86 inches), this panel adapts easily to whatever the operator needs.

But who's already reaping the benefits of this innovative solution? Look no further than Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers in Phoenix, AZ. Our dealer was doing a remodel at The Diamondback Stadium for this chain, and he placed our shelving solution with the panel into operation for this restaurant. The Director of Operations, after seeing how well it worked, said to our dealer, “What a great idea. It makes so much sense."

The FRONT-FACING PANEL allows the employees to manage the beer cooler in less time. Walk-in beer coolers, with our systems in place, let employees change out a keg in less than one minute. The FRONT-FACING PANEL isn't just making waves in the hospitality sector. Its versatility and eye-catching design caught the attention of the foodservice consultant who was designing the foodservice equipment at the iconic Sphere in Las Vegas. These pain points happen all across the industry and represent how Cooler Concepts is here to help solve industry problems. If you have a "pain in the ass" problem, let us know, and we can help solve it.
